How to stay focused:- Whether it’s studying for a test or getting an hour’s worth of work done early, maintaining concentration can help you succeed. There are several easy things you can do to help yourself concentrate and avoid the temptation to check your phone or Facebook every fifteen minutes. Avoid becoming sidetracked by other things going on around you and keep focused on the task at hand by writing it down (with built-in breaks) on a to-do list.
1.Get your desk in order. Maintaining a tidy environment enhances productivity and concentration, whether you’re in the office or at home. Get rid of any extraneous or distracting items so you can focus on the job at hand. Remove everything from your desk that isn’t essential, leaving only a few images or keepsakes to help you unwind as you work.To keep up your newly found order, all it takes is ten minutes of your time every night to tidy up.
For the next few hours, put aside your phone if you don’t need it for work. Don’t let it occupy unnecessary mental bandwidth.
2.Create a list of tasks. Creating a list of things you need to get done at the start of each day or week is a great way to get organised and get things done. If you write down everything you need to do, no matter how trivial, you can cross it off as you finish it and go on to the next thing. This is an excellent method for avoiding multitasking.
Sort your work in order of importance. Prioritise the things that need to be done the most. When you’re feeling fatigued and less motivated to do the toughest activities, it’s a good time to switch gears and focus on the ones that are more achievable. Leaving the tough work for the end of the day will just fill you with dread all day.
On a list of things to do, you can write, “Call mum. Get a kid’s birthday cake ordered. Retain the doctor’s services by calling back. Mail pickup at 2!
3.Set a timer and adhere to it. Making a list of things to accomplish is an essential part of time management. Time requirements should be noted next to each task on the list. This estimate needs to be taken seriously. Then, do your best to finish each activity before the timer runs out. You’ll be less tempted to waste an hour texting your pal instead of working because of this.
Less time-consuming jobs can be interspersed with longer, more involved ones. That way, you won’t have to deal with a bunch of challenging assignments at once. The smaller assignments are like little bonuses.

A timer can be set to go off every half an hour or an hour to remind you to take a rest. You can skip a break if you’re really, very focused, but you shouldn’t make it a habit.

5.Find a quiet spot where you may relax without being interrupted. If, for instance, during your break you’re still reading work email, you can forget about relaxing your thoughts. So, take some of your breaks while standing up. Get some fresh air by staring out the window, taking a little stroll outside, or even just climbing five flights of stairs. You’ll feel refreshed and ready to get back to work after taking these quick breaks.
You can schedule thirty minutes of reading time across three hours, for instance. You’ll be more inspired to complete your chores if you take a short pause to read a chapter of a book and give your eyes a vacation from the screen.
