What! This kitten was crying alone in the parking lot! How could we help him!

Guys, we were out for feeding the street-cats in one of the parking lots we regularly come to. A security guard called us and informed about a kitten whose mom didn’t come back since yesterday. We found the kitten crying near a car’s tire. We were anxious and saw a cat already there and she was sniffing him. We were glad and thought that the kitten’s mom came back. But, to our surprise she ran away after a moment! She wasn’t his mom!
